This cosy shack right on the beach was perfect for parents, grandparents and 2 10 year olds. Very peaceful spot. The boys loved the easy access to the beach and jetty jumping. The town is lovely and the shack has everything we needed.

The views were amazing, so lovely being right on the beach. We used the kayaks that were there for use, a nice way to explore the area. A perfect place to reconnect with family.

We were so pleased we chose Southport to stay at the end of our trip. After seeing so many cute beach shacks on our way around the island it was a real treat. If you are happy to rock up, take your shoes off and truly relax and if no frills is your happy place, this is for you. That said, everything you need is there and the shack is nice and homely and snug. Hearing the waves all night! magic. The smell of the kelp reminded me of summer holidays growing up. We had amazing weather and Paul recommended the best local activities so we went for a trip and bushwalk to Cockle Creek.

Absolutely amazing! It was our own little piece of paradise - we swam each day and had the whole beach to ourselves. The shack is comfortable and peaceful. It is truly the most relaxing holiday we’ve ever had!! Definitely hoping to return. Paul is full of good advice and suggestions which made our stay even more perfect. Whatever you do make the trip to Cockle Creek - pristine, white sandy beaches - just magic!
